Fire Detection System Conventional copy

Conventional Fire Detection

Conventional fire detection and alarm systems are suitable for the early detection of fires. They have very simple configurations. Due to their simplicity, conventional systems are most reliable and economical when used in small or medium-sized facilities. Conventional Systems are popular because they are user-friendly and easy to maintain. In its simplest configuration, a conventional system cannot pinpoint the exact location of a fire. However, a facility can be subdivided into definite areas or zones. For example, in a multistory building, each floor can represent a zone. Zoning allows the user to determine the specific location of the fire.
